Americans Beware…OPPOSE THE SOCIALIST RESCUE PLAN

Stop all this madness! As citizens, we understand the crisis at hand, but we should not support a solution that consolidates power in the federal government as the only way to stave off a complete economic meltdown.

We should be urging Congress to slow down and consider the other free-market solutions that don’t march us off the cliff to socialism and bigger government, both of which I believe must be avoided at all costs; for if we do not, America is doomed to socialism and even bigger government; with ever bigger pork-barrel earmarks. Which means higher taxes for everybody, and that will led us into a depression.

We understand this is a complex issue. That’s why we needn’t rush into any solutions that could prove far more costly, in more ways than one, to our nation in the long run.

The FED (Democrats & Republicans) got us into this mess and now they want to get us out of it, but only if they can use it for “PORK’N”; hold on to your wallets. One TRILLON is only the beginning of what will be America’s final downfall. They are a bunch of hypocrites and traitors to the principles that makes America the greatest nation on earth. Many should go to jail or at least lose their job; still many more should resign; for they let this happen under their watch.

“WE THE PEOPLE” must take action and prevent this cure from becoming worse than the disease. For if we do nothing, we will have no one to blame but ourselves. Phone, fax, e-mail, write, and sound-off; let your elected officials at all levels of government know how you feel. Stand-up and fight for your liberty and freedom from a government for the few, at the expense of the many.

For Joe-Tax-Payer…to be required to pickup the total cost tab on this mess, is WRONG!!! Since when, do…2 WORNGS EQUAL RIGHT???

They should not try to quick-fix everything at once, (Republications & Democrats) should look at the following for starters and then go from there; based upon the reactions of the free-market:

  1. Abolish “All Pork-Barrel spending”
  2. Abolish all “Identity Politics” from our Financial Systems Legislation
  3. Abolish “The Community Reinvestment Act”
  4. Abolish “The Mark to Market Regulations”
  5. Abolish “The Bank Holding Company Act”

If they would do these things now a bailout may not be required, and even if a bailout is needed later, it certainly would not be $700 Billion. Once the crisis was over they could always introduce legislation to fix any problems. Abolishing old out-dated legislation will help Wall Street and the Economy. Creating new financial systems legislation for the 21st Century, without the “politics” can only help.

That said…No one wants to talk about who is most to blame for this financial crisis that now threatens the U.S. economy. It is much easier to blame others than to look into a mirror and see ourselves. We Americans have been living on borrowed money far too long. We need to pay-down our debts and save more.

A MUST SEE video about the crisis

True Grit…Be Informed…

Regardless of which Political Party you prefer, “True Grit” is the answer…be informed. Ask yourself this simple question, “Which Candidates really have “True Grit”? Then seek your answer, but do not look to the mainstream media for your answer. These are troubling times in which we live, so look too History and its troubling times for your answer.

Perfect examples of "True Grit" can be found in people like George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, FDR, Winston Churchill, Eisenhower, JFK, MLK, Reagan…to John McCain and Sarah Palin. As a Vietnam Vet, I get chills even now when I remember those days and think about John McCain’s traumatic experience at the hands of the North Vietnamese. It aggravates me that the Democratic Party has tilted so far to the left…I cannot even recognize it as the Party of FDR and JFK. Everyone should understand and deserves to experience what "True Grit" is and what it means to have “True Grit”.

The United States and the next Administration are going to be faced with some major challenges both domestic and foreign. On the foreign front…a resurgent Russia, an energized China, a global economy with serious problems, to the next chapter of the turmoil in the Middle East and dealing with the Osama bin Ladens of the world.  On the domestic front…an energy and financial crisis that spells trouble for all Americans, taxes and spending out of control, legal and illegal immigration that continues to increase, health care and education costs rise as quality is stagnated or declining, a Judicial Branch with self-assumed powers to Legislate, entitlement programs that will bankrupt this country.

What of Mrs. Palin's liabilities? Like McCain, she makes up for, in sheer determination to do the right thing. The intellect and a values system second to none and some good old common sense; there is no decision she or McCain would make, that I could not trust and support; because they have “True Grit”! If they cannot change Washington and “Today’s Politics”; no one can. They will become the facilitators for change; however we the people must demand that our representatives follow their lead.

THE BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA PLAN

THE BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA PLAN

In the beginning was the Obama Plan (Change We Can Believe In!). And then came the Obama Assumptions. And the Obama Assumptions were without form. And the Obama Plan was without substance. And darkness fell upon the face of the Voters.

And the Voters spoke amongst themselves, saying, “This is a crock of you know what, and it stinks.” And the Voters went unto their Party Supervisors and said, “It is a pail of dung, and we can't live with the smell.”

And the Party Supervisors went unto their Party Managers, saying, “It is a container of excrement, and it is very strong, such that none may abide by it.” And the Party Managers went unto their Party Directors, saying, “It is a vessel of fertilizer, and none may abide its’ strength.”

And the Party Directors spoke amongst themselves, saying to one another, “It contains that which aids Plant growth; and it is very strong.” And the Party Directors went to Joe Biden, saying unto him, “It promotes growth and it is very powerful.”

And Joe Biden went to Barack Obama, saying unto him, “This new Plan will actively promote the growth and vigor of the Nation with very powerful effects.”

And Barack Obama looked upon the Plan and saw that it was good.

And the Plan became Policy.

And that, my friends, is how; “you know what” happens.

Questions for Barack Obama…

Yes I have been paying attention and have been listening to Barack Obama. He talks a good talk, but specifics are what I need!

HOPE:

First, what does he mean by hope? What strategies will he employ; because hope by itself is nothing but an emotional state of mind? Hope must be grounded in objective truth otherwise it will quickly become wishful thinking. Hope alone will not protect you from terrorists or from becoming a victim of crime; hope alone will not lower your taxes; hope alone will not help you buy a home; and hope alone will not ensure quality jobs, education and healthcare for you and your family. Hope alone will not afford every citizen the opportunities to turn their dreams into reality and their hopes into action for themselves and their families. Hope without action, passively waits for others to solve problems. Without action, hope looks at what could be, instead of doing the hard work required to make it a reality. Without action, hope is powerless to do anything but dream and question…“What If”. Hope by itself, is not getting it done or changing things for the better.

UNITY:

How is he going to be able to unify the country? He is so far out in liberal left field he makes Ted Kennedy seem conservative. This country is divided into three camps conservative, liberal, and those with focused special interests. How does he plan on unifying the country, when even the Democratic Party is unable to humanly speak to one another? All his talk of unity seems vague and empty.

CHANGE:

What kind of "changes" does he support? What are the costs in both monetary and the freedoms that we will be forced to give up? Who will pay for these changes? What cuts in other programs will be needed to balance the budget? How will he go about implementing these changes? What actions will he perform and what are his expectations of the Congress and the American people to accomplish these changes?

Rather than just talk-the-talk, Obama needs to walk-the-walk.

Obama or McCain…”A No-brainer”

“A no-brainer”…yes…however, unfortunately we all have brains, it is just that many never learned to use them. They did not need too, for doing what feels good without thinking is how a liberal society flourishes and leads to its eventual decline.

Obama states the obvious, unity, hope and change which do not need to be said, over and over again. However, Obama reminds me of others throughout history, with their ability to so quietly and enchantingly say one thing and mean and do another; and people will shake their heads in approval of the very things they oppose. What is amazing is they believe they have agreed with him. What is really very scary is that history has also proven time and again; that those willing to agree without questioning are the first to die by the millions.

How and who will deal with it?

Dr. Kengor:

I whole-heartily agree with your assessment. Hindsight always seems to be 20/20; what if this or that, but the final outcomes have always been positive for the most part and some even positively delightful. After all, we are only human, and being human we do make mistakes. The heavy and almost unbearable costs have always been enormous. This is the biggest challenge of the twenty-first century, sacrifices well be required; will we be up to the task? Pervious generations have always been welling to make those sacrifices and meet those challenges head-on. Currently, to my despair, future generations just do not have the fortitude for making those sacrifices. My despair is based upon all the negatives rather than positives I feel and see daily.

It seems that every national election we've had in the last several decades has been described as the most important election in the history of America. They have all been important, but coming right down to it this election could well be what decides whether America maintains its place in the world as the most powerful, progressive, free, and benevolent nation history has ever known; or whether we will be relegated to a back seat in a world community capable of producing economic giants.

China has discovered capitalism and the staggering amount of underpaid manpower controlled by a totalitarian, heavy handed government makes it impossible for any free country paying decent wages to compete. China has to create millions of new jobs every year and there is no foreseeable let up in the amount of cheap labor or Chinese goods flooding the world's markets. On the horizon another potentially catastrophic problem looms; eventually the day will come when China will attempt to take Taiwan very possibly by military force. Taiwan is a U.S. ally. How and who will deal with it?

Russia is a society of haves and have-nots. The biggest concentration of billionaires on earth live in Moscow, while the average Russian struggles to make ends meet. Russia is becoming more arrogant and more militant with each passing day. How and who will deal with it?

Iran has made it known, they desire nuclear weapons and they’re intensions of using them. If Iran does obtain nuclear capabilities, there is no doubt they will use those capabilities and not for the good of mankind; but for its eventual and total destruction. How and who will deal with it?

The situation on our southern border becomes more serious and more complex with each passing day as Hispanic political power grows stronger. Eventually, when all the jobs have been gobbled up and we have several million disenchanted and unemployed illegal aliens roaming the streets of America, someone will be forced into taking some severe measures. How and who will deal with it?

The trouble among the trade unions and manufacturers will escalate as companies continue to outsource American jobs and the day will come when America will be forced into some degree of protectionism, NAFTA or no NAFTA. It will be a situation demanding political nerve, skill and iron will. How and who will deal with it?

The price of crude oil is spiraling out of control while America sets on top of untold millions of barrels of oil and trillions of cubic feet of natural gas; and has not built a new refinery or nuclear reactor since the seventies. The time will come when someone will have to stand up to the environmentalist’s for the good of America. How and who will deal with it?

Drug fueled violent crime is out of control and rampant on the streets of America.  Slaughter and mayhem is the order of the day in some sections and yet violent Hispanic gangs walk across our southern borders with impunity, their non existent "rights" championed by the likes of the A.C.L.U. How and who will deal with it?

The U.S. Dollar, which has always been the safest currency in the world, is losing ground to just about every other stable currency on earth, the Euro; the Japanese yen have all gained on the dollar. And yet the trade deficit continues to grow and a do nothing Congress with a very poor approval rating makes a piece of ordinary legislation look like a set of encyclopedias by adding their greedy earmarks and personal pork. They have no interest except their own and America suffers for it. How and who will deal with it?

One thing we should remember. This election is not just about choosing a President. It is about electing Congressmen and Senators who really care more about America than they do their stupid political party and getting themselves re-elected.

There are a few good men and women in Congress, but for the most part they are a bunch of corrupted and spoiled children fighting over nothing. There is no need to send a good man or a good woman to the White House or Congress, only to have their hands tied by that corruption. Those who refuse to fund the troops without billions of dollars of needless spending attached to it. That is stupid, dangerous and downright treasonous. Throw these corrupt clowns out, make them go home and work 40 hours a week for a living like the rest of us.

The war on terror is very real and ongoing; and something we will be dealing with for many, many years to come. There are those who claim they would immediately start pulling troops out of Iraq. Don't believe them! Once they have access to all the information and understand the consequences, they will change their mind. No one will begin immediately pulling the troops out of Iraq but they will have to deal with the war. How and who will deal with it?

It does not matter whether you are a Democrat, Republican, Independent, right, left, conservative or liberal, man or woman, black or white or brown or blue or red. Just remember that those are just labels. What are we really…We Are Americans…Freedom and Liberty are not free and will only belong to those willing to fight for it and if necessary die for it.

God Bless the Troops…

God Bless America…

Peace Talks and the United Nations

“Peace Talks and the United Nations”…peace can only become a reality through strength, not weakness. Words alone will not protect and preserve peace. Military and economic strength has always and will continue too preserve and protect the freedom and liberties that many of us take for granted.

Clearly, the UN no longer represents its own Charter. All “Free Nations” need to exercise definitive leadership and insist that it does what its Charter says it should do. Any Nation that refuses to acknowledge that Charter should be exiled until they show to the world that they do acknowledge that Charter and abide by its stated purpose. Working within the framework of the UN Charter can and will change the UN and force it to be responsible for living up to those responsibilities. If this fails, yes all freedom loving nations of the earth should resign their UN Membership and band together in forming a new united free world organization, to confront and fight if need be all the evils to liberty and freedom.

Our Political System

If the Republicans and Democrats have only the current crop of candidates to offer America; America is in deep trouble. The Republicans, Democrats and main-stream-media (MSM) are just thrilled with these power-seekers; however, the average American is not.

Both Dole and McCain are war heroes who are genuine patriots; however, the political arena in which we currently find ourselves is surely not patriotic. It has become a corrupted, self-serving, etc., etc. unpatriotic system that must be changed. Else, America will continue its slow decline into oblivion.

For those who still don’t understand why so many Americans have become disgusted with the politics of today, they need look no further than the current primary campaigns. Our political system itself is now so corrupted from special interest groups and pandering to political correctness that it may never recover. This is wrong and if not corrected, will continue to cause this divided country much pain and divisions in the future. Our forefathers never wanted nor envisioned the political nonsense of today.

This political season is very disturbing; I do not like any of the Republican or Democrat presidential candidates. This election will go down to the wire, with each one of us having to choose between the lesser of two evils. But, to cast the most informed vote in the most important election in our lifetimes, it is essential that we know and fully understand the pros and cons of each candidate. Your vote does count and you should be voting for the candidate that best reflects your views of what makes this country great and so unique. Just remember that this uniqueness is truly a reflection of its people and what they stand for.

On September 11, 2001, our nation was brutally attacked by extremists who had no respect for their faith or the rule of law; and hoped to vanquish ours. Surely we are better than that and we should make that crystal clear to the world.

Hope for the best, prepare for the worst…I urge you to V-O-T-E…else you have no right to complain!

LiL Red Hen (Modern version)

LiL Red Hen (Modern version)

Once upon a time, on a farm in Texas, a little red hen scratched about the barnyard until she uncovered quite a few grains of wheat.

She called all of her neighbors together and said, "If we plant this wheat, we shall have bread to eat. Who will help me plant it?"

"Not I," said the cow.

"Not I," said the duck.

"Not I," said the pig.

"Not I," said the goose.

"Then I will do it by myself," said the little red hen. Therefore, she did.

The wheat grew very tall and ripened into golden grain.

"Who will help me reap my wheat?" asked the little red hen.

"Not I," said the duck.

"Out of my classification," said the pig.

"I'd lose my seniority," said the cow.

"I'd lose my unemployment compensation," said the goose.

"Then I will do it by myself," said the little red hen, and so she did.

At last, it came time to bake the bread.

"Who will help me bake the bread?" asked the little red hen.

"That would be overtime for me," said the cow.

"I'd lose my welfare benefits," said the duck.

"I'm a dropout and never learned how," said the pig.

"If I'm to be the only helper, that's discrimination," said the

goose.

"Then I will do it by myself," said the little red hen. She baked five loaves and held them up for all of her neighbors to see. They wanted some and, in fact, demanded a share. However, the little red hen said, "No, I shall eat all five loaves."

"Excess profits!" cried the cow.

"Capitalist leech!" screamed the duck.

"I demand equal rights!" yelled the goose.

The pig just grunted in disdain.

In addition, they all painted "Unfair!" picket signs and marched around and around the little red hen, shouting obscenities.

Then a government agent came, he said to the little red hen, "You must not be so greedy."

"But I earned the bread," said the little red hen.

"Exactly," said the agent. "That is what makes our free enterprise system so wonderful. Anyone in the barnyard can earn as much as he wants.  But under our modern government regulations, the productive workers must divide the fruits of their labor with those who are lazy and idle,"

They all lived happily ever after, including the little red hen, which smiled and clucked, "I am grateful, for now I truly understand,"

However, her neighbors became quite disappointed in her. She never again baked bread because she joined the "party" and got her bread free.

All the Democrats smiled. 'Fairness' had been established.

Individual initiative had died, but nobody noticed; perhaps no one cared...as long as there was free bread that "the rich" were paying for.

Bill Clinton is getting $12 million for his memoirs.

Hillary got $8 million for hers.

That's $20 million for memories from two people, who for eight years, repeatedly testified, under oath, that they couldn't remember anything.

IS THIS A GREAT COUNTRY, OR WHAT?
